Book Description:
The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s
not.
Olivia Townsend is nothing special.
She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to
help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman
in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To
Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white. But
clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re
brothers. Twins. Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad
boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her
insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for
her. Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful,
responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other
than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from
melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her
forget why they can never be together. Black and white turns to shades of gray
when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make
her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s
already involved. And in love. With both of them. Both brothers make her heart
tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire. She wants them both. And they want
her. How will she ever choose between them?
My rating: 5.5/5

This is the kind of book that you climb
into the story and you don't want to come out at all. You know that the end is
near, but you wish that maybe after a good night sleep, there will be 50 pages
added to the book, so you can enjoyed it a little bit longer!
Cash and Nash are twin brothers. ~What! Twin Sexy Brothers???~ They
are sexy, intelligent and both of them seem to have a little ''dark side'' that
every girl craves. Nash is the calm, patient, studious and working type of guy
(he wants to become an attorney) and Olivia fell in love with him at first
sight. The only problem is that Nash is taken. He's actually dating Marissa,
Olivia's cousin.
The plot wasn't something I never read
before, two guys are falling for the same girl, and the girl doesn't know which
one to choose... We all read that before, but M. Leighton has a great writing
hand, fluid style and it was easy to read and enter into Olivia, Cash and Nash
world. Plus, M. Leighton has an interesting and kind of twisted mind of her
own! One thing for sure is that I didn't see that one coming up, and I was so
surprise by the ending, I was ~What the F&*%!~
My rating: 5.5/5

Down to you is one of my favorite read
of this early 2013! (Yeah I know it's been only 2 weeks...)

This summer, I discovered that I loved
contemporary romance (Thanks to you Ms. McGuire!) and since then, I discovered
a bunch of new authors and great titles that are incrusted into my mind.
Down to you is literally one of these
reads, that even after you finished it, you still have all the story,
characters, and scenes description in mind. And for my own pleasure and yours
too, there's a sequel! YAY!
Olivia wants to start her life anew,
since her ex-boyfriend totally screws up on her. Olivia had her share of bad
boys in her life and now she wants something different, something better for
herself.
Cash and Nash are twin brothers. ~What! Twin Sexy Brothers???~ They
are sexy, intelligent and both of them seem to have a little ''dark side'' that

(he wants to become an attorney) and Olivia fell in love with him at first

Olivia's cousin.
Cash is the funny, always ready to party
and not responsible kind of guy that owns a bar. He seems to be the guy that
had plenty of women in his bed and he's the single twin. He's the ultimate bad boy representation that
Olivia' always fell in love with but absolutely don't want to anymore.
Both guys are into Olivia and she
doesn't know which one to choose, because she will find out that they both have
their positive and negative side.
Which one will she choose?
Big dilemma! Geez just looking at the
cover and I am covered of my own saliva! Hard choices!!!!

Seriously, I want the sequel right
now.... :(
Page Turner: Yes!
Series: Yes! (The Bad Boys, #1)
Stand Alone: Yes but I'm pretty sure you
would love to read the sequel because the ending is too wide open for not
wanting to read the second book!
Hotness: Cash and Nash OMG Twins....
Yummy! But I got a thing for Bad Boys too so I will go with Cash, if I had to
choose!
Proserpine Recommendation: If you love
contemporary romance you should totally put this series on your Must-Read list,
Next-to-Buy list and TBR pile! M. Leighton is one of my favorite author discoveries
of 2013! BUY/BORROW/STEAL, whatever it takes!

Title: UP TO ME
Series: (The Bad Boys,
#2)
Published: January 4, 2013
Format: eBook
Happily ever after doesn’t come easy. But for love, it’s always worth
the fight.
Olivia finds bliss unlike any she’s ever known in Cash’s arms. He sets her
skin on fire and melts her heart right inside her chest. Unfortunately, their
happily ever after is short-lived when a shadow from Cash’s past threatens to
turn their world upside down.
Dangerous people from his father’s world have discovered that Cash holds
information that could put them away for a very long time. And they’re willing
to do anything—and hurt anybody—to get it back. Giving it up means Cash must
choose between the life of his father and the life of Olivia.
Having nearly overcome her wariness of bad boys, Olivia’s trust is
shaken when this new threat arises. Now she finds that Cash is not only a
danger to her heart, but his family has associations that are a danger to her
life as well. She soon discovers that there are some situations in life where
trust is a girl’s only option. And this is one of them. If she’s to live, she
must trust Cash with her life. But to Olivia, that’s much, much easier than
letting go and trusting him with her heart.
About the Author
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, M.
Leighton, is a native of Ohio. She relocated to the warmer climates of the
South, where she can be near the water all summer and miss the snow all winter.
Possessed of an overactive imagination from early in her childhood, Michelle
finally found an acceptable outlet for her fantastical visions: literary
fiction. Having written over a dozen novels, these days Michelle enjoys letting
her mind wander to more romantic settings with sexy Southern guys, much like
the one she married and the ones you'll find in her latest books. When her
thoughts aren't roaming in that direction, she'll be riding horses, swimming in
ponds and experiencing life on a ranch, all without leaving the cozy comfort of
her office.
About Michelle: I love coffee and chocolate, even more so when they are
combined. I'm convinced that one day they could be the basis for world peace. I
also love the color red and am seriously considering dying my hair.

ReplyDeleteI haven't had the pleasure of reading Down to You yet, but I fully intend on doing so. Loved the review and the author bio. M. Leighton, I think you should dye your hair, maybe just a temp color, one that will wash out that way if you don't like it, you don't have to stay with it or use more chemicals to change it back. Thank you for the giveaway.
